Adventures in Sonoris:

By Michaela, age 13

First let me say….. Wow!! Amazing! I absolutely LOVE how you incorporated music into a fun story that kids and even adults will enjoy! There were parts that made me laugh and parts that were very suspenseful. I love how the story taught about scales, different note pitches, and more… the characters! One of my favorite parts was when Mimi and Zack were learning the musical defense codes. I imagined how fun it would be to use the summon code and levitus code! Congrats! You have written an amazing story!!! I am positive others will enjoy it as well!

The Mis-Adventures of Molly Fitt:

delightful and engaging

By Ken S. on September 15, 2017

With The Misadventures of Molly Fitt, Patrick Boland has crafted a delightful novel that is part whimsical fantasy and part heartfelt coming of age story. He has succeeded in giving us compelling characters in an amusing and delightful narrative that is both entertaining and engaging. At the same time, he delicately challenges us to examine the prejudices and prejudgements that are present not only our society but also in our own hearts. The Misadventures of Molly Fitt succeeds in not only entertaining us ut validating and affirming the “Miss Fitt” that exists in all of us.

Misfit or special?

By Nan on August 23, 2017

Very imaginative story of Molly Fitt - a misfit. Life is never boring around Molly, a strange, weird girl who did not fit into the "normal" life of her town, Lowman. She did not look at life like other people, and her adventures made things interesting for everyone around her, especially her best friend, Roberta.
The story kept me interested, turning a page and wondering "what's next?"...and reading on to the surprise ending.

A book for all ages.

Format: Paperback

I totally loved this book. It is a book for all ages. It takes you back to your childhood as well as fables for my life in corporate America. It is very thought provoking. The book makes you think about who you were and who you have become.

Captivating Tales

By Beergnome on January 1, 2018

These twelve stories woven together make for a fascinating read. The book is geared toward young adults, but as a senior, I found the stories intriguing with numerous twists and turns. I am looking forward to reading the author's next book, as I thoroughly enjoyed this one.

Timely and Suspenseful

By Beergnome on February 4, 2018

This was a great read. I had difficulty putting this book down as I wanted to see what would happen next to this brave quartet. The subject matter was highly relevant to our times and the writing was engrossing and kept me in suspense. I highly recommend this tale to adults as well as young adults. Well done.

Lost

By D. B. on July 6, 2019

This was a gripping novel, a real page turner. The most frightening element of this tale is that it is close to what might be happening in our near future. I really cared about the characters and what would happen to them; after a few pages; it was difficult to put the book down. I highly recommend this book.
