Patrick writes for the love of writing.
He is a classically-trained jazz pianist and teacher and began writing novels in 2010. After publishing one media-rich iBook with his wife, Miriam, and three quirky young adult books, Patrick turned his attention to writing books for adults.
Patrick grew up in the segregated South in an evangelical Christian community. His writing often grapples with the impact of these childhood influences and how they still linger in our culture.
Patrick lives with his best friend, his wife Miriam, and their dog Lola in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.
